CIS HoN Tour finally announced

First South East Asia announced HoN Tour, then the coveted NA/EU region came out of the gates, now the CIS region gets their time to shine as they are announcing their HoN Tour tournament for the second season. A total of $25,000 USD and plenty of action-packed matches are awaiting the players.

While the competition in North America, Europe and South East Asia has already kicked off over the past couple of days, the CIS region and Latin America are still eagerly awaiting to launch their HoN Tour experience for their region. Now the Garena-lead CIS region comes out of the gate with their take on the prestigious HoN event.

Overall the tournament combines the division names of NA/EU with the general system of the South East Asian HoN Tour. The three divisions will be called Bronze, Silver and Gold and will all have a different prizepool and more or less prestige. The highest division is obviously the golden one, where the eight best teams of the region will battle in three cycles for bragging right, region supremacy and a chunk of the $4,000 USD that every Gold Cycle pays out.

The Silver Division will be the home of 16 teams on the verge of greatness and with the opportunity to get promoted to Gold - to the big regional spotlight. Still the efforts in Silver will not go over unrewarded, as the division still looks at a prizepool of $1,000 USD every single cycle for the second tier of the region.

Only the Bronze Division will not receive real money, as the bottom division will only grant ingame perks and ingame money to the successful players in that division - as well as giving them the opportunity to compete on a regular basis with a chance of getting promoted into the pro scene of the region.

The whole action will start with the registrations on September, 2nd and the Qualifier will officially take place September 14th and 15th, so the season starts September, 28th with all three divisions starting to play. The qualifiers are not the only way to get into the Gold Division, as the playoff teams from the most recent G1-event will receive a direct invite into the Gold Division.

Overall the entire competition will have a prizepool of $25,000 USD in total with $5,000 USD going out every single cycle and a total of $10,000 USD being at stake when the best teams of the season square off in the regional finals to determine the CIS Champion and the CIS representative for the giant International Finals in Bangkok, Thailand.
