PiIIows with Team Infused Tt eSports

Well well Buch! I am pretty sure I don’t need an introduction with you but for like the other 99% of the Heroes of Newerth population who obviously do not know who you are please tell us more! Hey! My name is Frederik Buch Petersen, also known as Buch in-game, I'm currently the main solo, utility player in team Infused and have been a part of the HoN community since the open beta, and played for several teams.

Buch sharing a toast!
I always wanted to be a pro TF2 player, but unfortunately I really suck at it.
Straight to the point I see! Well I hear that you’re an avid fan of Team Fortress 2, Facebook Sims and Magicka - can you explain a bit more on that? I always wanted to be a pro TF2 player, but unfortunately I really suck at it, so I had to go with HoN. I'm probably at Facebook 99 %, most of the time enjoying PiIIows' girlfriend's pictures. As far as Sims, I made my own little Infused TT eSports world, where Astonl is the perverted freak who tries to hit on everyone. I constantly kill PiIIows so he can live up to his name in HoN. LOL a fascinating story... But as one of the few players who have been near or at the top of the competitive scene in Heroes of Newerth most of their career, if you DID have the chance to move to move to Team Fortress 2 or DotA 2 would you take it? I really hope Dota2 will be an awesome game, and get a lot of positive response from the pro hon players. If I'm lucky they will swap over, and I will might end up actually winning some games in HoN :D. So that's pretty much my future plan. Personally I couldn’t stand League of Legends after watching the finals of the Insomnia 43 LAN, what about you, is it a game that is completely dominant in the marketing area of the Moba genre, is there anything that Heroes of Newerth can do and do you think DotA 2 will just bring an end to both games - as the saying goes, kill 2 birds with 1 stone? League of Legends has always been **** talked over and over again at the HoN forums. I tried to watch my first competitive League of Legends at I43, and I actually ended up falling asleep. I think Heroes of Newerth should get a lot of more credit because it's truly a better game than LoL. I think the best way for HoN to survive is to fix their servers, since people are getting really tired of it. Secondly they need to bring in some major tournaments to keep their competitive scene. I think HoN is driven by the competitive scene. It gives people a lot of ideas how to play, and most of all it's really fun to see. Dota 2 is gonna be bigger than HoN and probably LoL as well. I think both games will survive. The only thing I'm tired of is people spamming the **** out of the forums about HoN is dying. HoN is gonna survive, deal with it. 21913354c02576d7d9136f3acceb9e9e09c2d80edad4ddb3fb11f1cf77.jpg
FearTheZap bored...?
So we move on to the Heroes of Newerth servers! How do you feel about the downtimes that plagues Heroes of Newerth almost every patch, with the worst downtime going up to almost 2 weeks and if you were S2’s server manager what would you say to your underlings? I have no idea what S2 is doing, I don't think they can say anything in order to make up for their **** ups. They should give out more free-stuff for their server issues that will probably make some people happy. The entire first-impression of Free to play has been so bad so far. Imagine if you were a new HoN player, and the servers and stats record didn't work 50 % of the time, would you as a costumer spend any money towards this game? I think not. As a competitive player I really hate it, since my team usually have to play all the tournaments in a short period of time.
I told my friend yesterday, “You have so much time, I don't understand why you don't become a competitive player it's so easy”.
So is Heroes of Newerth a game you actually enjoy playing, on a public level or on a competitive level? I told my friend yesterday, “You have so much time, I don't understand why you don't become a competitive player it's so easy”. If I didn't play the competitive level in HoN. I would stop playing, that's the only thing I look forward to play, when I'm playing the game. Even though I'm playing Match Making 80 % of the time Just for the numerous people out there who are unable to say or pronounce your name at all, HOW do you say your name? OK! This is really important to me, first of all I'm not JEWISH nor GERMAN. The worst thing you can call me is B-U-S-H, my name is pronounced like a book, an English book. With your team leader and captain PiIIow’s going inactive, let’s take a look at the current line-up of the team, who are they and what roles do they have? Astonl: Probably the most known Infused player. He's usually playing hag, but as you can see in this video: He's not doing a very good job, other than that Aston is mainly playing our important roles such as hard carry or mid lane Xoyno???Zszf?: What is his name again? Tactical drafter and the in game caller and a really important player for the team, his pretty much a utility player like me. AAA aka Black: A big pickup for Infused as well, he has been playing the same roles as Astonl. Let's just say he is a very interesting player to have on the team. Fearthezap: Been playing the main support ever since PiIIow’s went inactive. But sometimes he takes on some completely different roles as well. He is a very helpful and nice guy in general. f0ae70a3ce3da4265529d5cc335f8fd5c091df50bf0ae04db571eb4bf6.jpg
Infused @ Insomnia43 LAN
Rumours are strife that in the Infused Skype chats and Ventrilo that there was a lot of drama concerning PiIIows and Captainboner against Xoynoznu and Black, are you able to tell the public anything? Wow... There has been so much drama in clan Infused lately. It has been pretty much been split up to 2 groups, the core members and new ones. There is so much to talk about, that I can't simple just describe in a few lines of an interview. But I'm certain when this is finally fixed, we will play better than never
Being in a team with PiIIow’s for almost 2 years on and off how do you feel about his decision to go inactive and is this going to affect the team in terms of chemistry and friendship? 6774da2226562a82bd76c19fede0688618ea9dacf772d2458567c15301.jpg
Pillows showing enthusiasm
I think the main reason why we are all here today is because of PiIIow’s. PiIIow’s has always done a great job of keeping the entire team together. Last time he left (TLR) the clan disbanded 2 weeks after. Even though PiIIow’s gets so much **** from the community, the people have to understand he's a really nice guy if you actually take the time to talk with him. Our vent casts have always been a delight for the community, and we appreciate all the positive responses. PiIIow’s had a major part in this as well since of his aggressive personality on the vent casts. What about Captainboner, having quite possibly one of the best names in the entire Heroes of Newerth scene as well as an important solo player, how is the loss going to affect you guys?

Pillows showing enthusiasm
I think we have a lot of underrated players in our team. Captainboner was one of them, if he truly wanted he could probably have been one of the best HoN players. We are all gonna miss his trolling and funny jokes, and hopefully he will do well in the university. One of Captainboners favourite quotes... '' Releasing the courier into the wilds '' We saw Infused recently lose to Port in the Lion’s Cup, a team that has been keeping relatively quiet and no doubt surprised your team, what is your opinion on the loss? All 3 games were a mess. People were ill, and some people were late so we had to change the roster. Port really surprised me though, I knew they were good, but they were actually much better than I anticipated. I don't understand why we haven't seen more to them. GL to them! As with the last 3 interviews we asked the interviewees their thoughts on the NASL, what is your opinion on this and are we likely to see Heroes of Newerth emerge as an e-sport sometime in the near future? I'm looking really forward to this tournament, It's probably gonna be as big as DreamHack Winter - which is gonna be huge I believe. We always needed more tournaments from USA, and this is a great imitative from NASL and from what I heard from Breakycpk’s podcast and forums, it's gonna be awesome. How do you feel about meeting the majority of the team for the first time at Insomnia 43, there was also rumours concerning the drama surrounding travel issues, can you tell the public anything about that? It was a great experience to finally meet the team, after we have been playing for so long over the internet. Not only was it great to meet all my team members, but most of the Infused crew was there as well. They really did a job of making the entire event as good as possible. (So much for sponsors being worthless trolls?) But again major drama occurred the first day, when 60 % of the team was missing. Let's just say some people(guy?) even though they are 18+, are too afraid to travel alone. How did you feel about the event itself, being the biggest LAN festival in the UK, has it already become one of your fondest memory when you look back at your gaming career? Like I said I43 was an awesome event, and I would definitely put in the same fun-scale category as the 3 other Dreamhack events I have attended. I will always look back at these events, and see them as a cheerful time. For all the readers out there, they should really try going to one of these events. They are absolutely great. 824fbd7fbe6c2120dcf5d804fead670c67f823ad6207e8805b43f547c0.jpg
Infused @ Insomnia43 LAN
So what WAS your fondest memory throughout your gaming career? It's either gonna be playing and winning at the stage of I43, or getting a third place at DreamHack Winter 2010 with Binary Evasion. I have so many fond memories from playing computer that it can't be singled down to one but if I had to pick one it would probably be Black getting sent out of I43 for sleeping at his computer even though 4 of his teammates did the exact same thing that was absolutely hilarious Winning the event in such a dominant fashion, is there anything you would like to share with the event organisers at what they can do better next time? I think the admin’s did a great job at the event, and I don't remember having any problems about the tournament at the LAN. I wish that more people would have attended, to make the entire event even bigger and harder. Insert: That's what she said joke LOL What is your opinion of the top 10 teams at the moment? 0. Clan Lady. We all know that 90 % of the pro HoN players are virgins, they would be able to seduce all the players. 1. sGty - Their training paid off and they also have some great individual players on their team. Their teamwork timing is almost perfect, and they don't have any weaknesses 2. MSI - I'm really not so sure about this anymore. They seem a little weak right now, but the last time they were weak they came back with a huge comeback. 3. Online Kingdom - Online Kingdom is a very strange team for me. Sometimes they are on fire, and suddenly they lose to a no-name team. They seem really lazy as well when it comes to scrimming, and their attitude towards tournaments, but they are playing fantastic. 4. Lions - They came from nowhere, and suddenly they are almost beating everyone. They are practicing 24/7, and will probably improve even more. 5. WHP - I haven't played them since their new roster. The team just have so much star-power. They have been working really hard as well for the recent success. 6. Complexity - I think having Se'busca and Paintitgold (spelled right?) Was a great improvement to the team although I have only seen Col to be an overrated team, but they deserve it now I imagine. 7. Infused - My own team. We have been doing really well lately with our new line up. We still got a few things we have to fix. When we are done with that, we will be stronger than ever. 8:Duskbin - They have been a little bit sloppy lately, they are still a great team though. I'm looking forward to their performance with no latency at DreamHack Winter. 9. Port - They really surprised me in that Lion's game. I think they are gonna be seen as a strong team in a couple of weeks. 10. Loiz Gaming / Dirty minds - Both teams have some really good players and some really bad players. Who do you see as your biggest threat or threats? WHP/OK. We haven't really played against them that much, so we don't really know their play style. I'm usually also very nervous, when I'm facing teams I haven't played before and confidence is a huge factor when you are playing. With rumours of a Nations cup being organised, just out of interest if you were team captain for the UK what would your line-up of players be? UK: Mike 1, Mike 2, Mike 3, Mike 4, Geid Any America vs Europe vs Asia comments? I don't get why people care so much about the entire America v EU v Asia discussion. Based on the facts Europe are better, then America and since I only know two good Asian teams, they are last I’ve had a fantastic time with you Buch, hopefully so will the readers and I look forward to seeing your team in action in the tournaments to come, any last minute shoutouts? Shoutout to your GF Aiko! Aiko if you see this message call me on Skype! Infused TT eSports, Andy, Russki, PiIIows, Captainboner, Pyrocancer, Pangelang.. God there so many people... Luckysmiling Emma derserve one as well, Tickit This Buch... Good luck to you and your team!
