Here are the playoff pairings for the $10,000 DreamHack Bucharest

In less than an hour, the brawl in Romania's capital will resume with the Ro16 matches.

The group stage is over and eight players have advanced to the playoffs of DreamHack Bucharest. Which means many more – including notable Hearthstone champions – couldn’t quite make it. Jon “Orange” Westberg, Jan “Faramir” Engelmann and Daniel “DTwo” Ikuta were among the first upsets of the tournament but they weren’t the last. The afternoon of April 24th also brought the elimination of Sebastian “Xixo” Bentert of Archon and James “Greensheep” Luo of Dignitas.

The second group stage culled even more heads. Asia’s only player Wei Lin “Tom60229” Chen was ousted by Stanislav Cifka. Names like Chris “Logan” Boutakidis, Jan “Skip” Birkmeyer, Filip “Numberguy” Samuelsen and Alesh “Alesh” Hemer were also barred from the playoffs, the latter losing to Jakub “Lothar” Szygulski when Boombots RNG went horribly wrong.

The eight players who made it through now get paired with the eight invitees. The pool of directly seeded players include the likes of Aleksandr “Kolento” Malsh, James “Firebat” Kostesich, Dima “Rdu” Radu and more but the games the qualifiers showed suggest it will be a tough bracket for any of the top 16.

The bracket matches start at 11:00 CET sharp with Lifecoach vs Impact.
