21:45 CET - Poland Gnimsh 2-0's Iceland Kaldi, on to playoffs

Group C concludes with Gnimsh taking down BYOC winner Kaldi after his tokens proved superior on a Druid mirror as well as against Kaldi's Handlock. Gnimsh now follows ThijsNL into the playoffs and before Group D's completion, the player pool for the final stage looks like this:

Germany Ek0p
United States Reynad
United States Realz
Romania Rdu
Netherlands ThijsNL
Poland Gnimsh

21:00 CET - Netherlands ThijsNL through, Sweden Nabutte out

MYM's ace ThijsNL advances from Group C on the back of another 2-1 comeback, this time against DogeHouse's Gnimsh in a Druid-dominated series. Thijs lost the opening set to Gnimsh's tokens so he had to change classes, picking his own signature "Dudu" deck. Wielding the deck which has brought him so much success already, Thijs tied it after the Druid mirror and survived until T9 against Gnimsh's Miracle to finish it off with a FoN/SR combo.

The fourth series in the group saw BYOC winner Kaldi play Nabutte to determine who'll be the first eliminated from the main event on day two. Two tense games later, the Icelander prevailed over Nabutte's Handlock and Miracle using his own mid-range Druid.

The last match in Group C will be Gnimsh vs Kaldi, winner goes to playoffs.

19:30 CET - ZOTAC king Netherlands ThijsNL with a 2-1 comeback against Iceland Kaldi

Five-times ZOTAC champion and five-time King of the Hill winner ThijsNL of Meet Your Makers gets one step closer to a playoff seed. The Dutchman dropped set one in the series against Kaldi, losing a Handlock mirror, but recovered in the following games after pulling out a Shaman deck. Having all the right answers against the Handlock and establishing early pressure against the Miracle was what brought him the 2-1 win.

ThijsNL will play Gnimsh next for the first place in Group C.

18:30 CET - Poland Gnimsh opens Group C with a quick 2-0 against Sweden Nabutte

Very similar to his team-mate Ek0p from day one, Polish powerhouse Gnimsh began his DreamHack run strong on the back of a token Druid. Paired against BYOC top four finisher Nabutte, Gnimsh secured back-to-back wins with his signature aggressive playstyle. T6 Force of Nature into a T7 Innervate/FoN/Savage Roar combo crushed Swede's Hunter while a T2 Violet Teacher into full board control became the death of the Mukla aggro Rogue which Nabutte favored throughout the open bracket.

Next on stream will be ThijsNL versus Kaldi.
