TakeTV Hearthstone Invitational announced

After the success of the SeatStory Cup, a Hearthstone-only tournament has been announced.



Just announced on the official website, TaKeTV will hold a pure Hearthstone tournament on April 18-20 in Krefeld, Germany. Eight players will attend the event as they battle it out for the 3,000$ prize pool. Similar to the SeatStory Cup, six for the players are invited by Take himself, with the remaining two slots to be filled by qualifiers.

The tournament will be run in two stages. First will be the 4-man group stage, where it will be a double elimination. The top two from the each group will then form another double elimination, determining the victor. The matches will be played in a best-of-five format, except for the loser's bracket final and the Grand Final, which will be best-of-seven instead.

The prize pool is broken down as follows:

First Place- 1,500$
Second Place- 1,000$
Third Place- 500$
