Clarity Gaming is a staple in the organization market of the United States of America for StarCraft 2. Until now they voided all expanding moves into other games, but the hype surrounding the new Blizzard game Hearthstone has prompted them to sign a Hearthstone team with four of the best American players.
The official announcement states this day as a "historic" one in Clarity Gaming's own history. For the first time, the team will leave their own comfort zone of StarCraft 2 and expand to a new title. Previously they saw themselves as a pure SC2 program, now the organization broaches the "multi-gaming organization" by picking up four American player with a big background and a bright future.
They might not be the most sparkling names in terms of the big streamer names or participants in Fight Night, but the resume of all four of them is stout and gives Clarity all the reason to look into a good foundation for their expanding move. Most notable names of the bunch might be KitKatz and Zoombuh, who placed first and second, respectably, in the Chat Lethal Invitational earlier this month. Their two teammates That'sAdmirable and puffin received an invitation to that tournament as well, but got eliminated in the first round - already.
Other than that tournament all four players have a background in other strategical card games such as Magic or even Poker, or in puffin's case have accolades such as a 2p Daily Hearthstone Open championship and runner up spot on the resume. Throughout the first two seasons of the constructed ranked ladder That'sAdmirable, Zoombuh and KitKatz all claimed a Top10 finish in the US ladder, adding to their reputation of skillful and well-versed players in Hearthstone.
They all join Clarity on the quest to make the experiment with a second game besides StarCraft 2 work - the next weeks and tournaments picking up pace will decide how successful the starting period is going to be.
