What will Lollipop Chainsaw 2 Back2Back be about?

According to Dragami Games (via Gematsu), Lollipop Chainsaw 2 will see protagonist and zombie hunter Juliet return with a makeover and a buff, sporting a brand-new outfit and stronger than ever. While the original game saw the 18-year-old cheerleader blaze through a zombie apocalypse at her local high school in San Romero, the sequel will take Juliet to a much more modern setting.

Juliet will traverse a rebuilt San Romero, now transformed into Jaredwood, a sprawling metropolis built around the film industry. There, a mysterious director would trap Juliet inside his twisted zombie movie, where she must fight alongside her allies, uncover the conspiracy behind the chaos, and stop a new threat posed by the Corrupted Realm zombies, Dragami Games revealed.

Alongside the reveal, Dragami Games also announced discounts for Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP, a remaster of the original game that launched in 2024. Players can grab the game at up to 45% off across all digital storefronts, with the discounts lasting until 15 October on Xbox stores, 30 September on Steam, and a later date to be announced for PlayStation.

The team behind Lollipop Chainsaw 2 Back2Back includes Hajime Tabata, the director of Final Fantasy XV and Masahiro Yuki, the co-producer for the original Lollipop Chainsaw.
