The game will launch on iOS and Android, with a PC release planned in the future.
The upcoming urban fantasy RPG game Astrae Oratio, which is set to launch for iOS and Android sometime in 2027, has confirmed a future PC release. Developed by NC (formerly NCSoft) and DynamisOne, Astrae Oratio has yet to announce an official release date.
A prologue digest promotional video was also revealed, which confirms that the main story will be voiced in Japanese.
What do we know about Astrae Oratio so far?
Astrae Oratio is an RPG themed around “bureaucracy and magic”, the setting is Tokyo in 1998, where magic users co-exist with ordinary people.
Players will take on the role of Shunin, a low-ranking local government employee assigned to the mysterious Special District Office, which oversees Tokyo's magical world. As Shunin, players will manage incidents involving a cast of magical girls.
The gameplay combines strategic real-time 3D turn-based battles, with visual novel-style story sections that allows players to choose dialogue.
Astrae Oratio is currently at this year's Tokyo Game Show from 17 to 21 September, where interested players will be able to play its first playable demo. Applications for its closed beta test are open until 21 September.
