Will Lies of P follow the Yellow Brick Road?
A new trademark filing may have dropped the clearest clue yet about where Lies of P is heading next, and it points towards a very familiar pair of red shoes. Neowiz, publisher of Round8 Studio's 2023 soulslike, Lies of P, has filed a pair of trademarks with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) for a mysterious title called "Wonders of O".
There is no announcement attached to the filings. However, with a Lies of P sequel already in development and the original game leaving behind one very obvious Oz-shaped tease, the title has immediately raised some questions.
What is Wonders of O?
Wonders of O is the title recently registered by Neowiz in the EUIPO, with the filings covering several uses directly related to video games. These include interactive multimedia software for games, downloadable computer game software, virtual reality game software, and online game services. In other words, the trademark appears to be tied to a game project, although the filings themselves do not reveal its developer, platforms, story, or whether it is actually connected to Lies of P.
Neowiz has also yet to publicly announce a game under the Wonders of O name, making the trademark more of a clue than a reveal at this point.
Could Wonders of O be the Lies of P sequel?
The possible connection starts with the name. Lies of P took its "P" from Pinocchio, with Round8 turning Carlo Collodi's story into the grim world of Krat. Wonders of O follows a suspiciously similar naming pattern, with the "O" potentially referring to Oz from L. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
Lies of P itself also already gave players a reason to make that connection. Its post-credits scene teased Dorothy, showing a girl in red shoes walking through Krat before clicking her heels three times.

Round8 has also previously confirmed that a Lies of P sequel is in development, although the studio has yet to reveal its title or setting.
Before this latest clue surfaced, the last major addition to Lies of P itself was Lies of P: Overture, which surprise-launched during Summer Game Fest 2025. The prequel DLC took players back to Krat before the Puppet Frenzy, expanding on the original game's story rather than moving beyond its ending.
More recently, a Lies of P documentary offered another tease about what comes next, with the studio saying its next game "is going to be really fun and emotionally moving".
None of that confirms Wonders of O as the sequel, and Neowiz has not linked the trademark to Lies of P. But with Dorothy already waiting in the wings, an Oz-inspired follow-up is looking a little less like guesswork than it did before.
