When is Where Winds Meet Hidden Mountain Chapter 3 releasing?
Hidden Mountain Chapter 3 will release on 16 September as the final chapter of the Hidden Mountain storyline. The story picks up as outsiders arrive and long-buried secrets begin to surface, forcing rival factions to make their final choices as players head into the heart of the conflict.

Chapter 3 will also finally put players face-to-face with Qianye, the mastermind behind the tragedy at Blissful Retreat who destroyed the protagonist's home and stole their loved ones. The confrontation brings the story back to the fire that first set the protagonist's journey in motion, with players uncovering the truth and helping shape the conclusion of the Hidden Mountain saga.
Hidden Mountain Chapter 3 adds new bosses and activities
The finale is also bringing more combat encounters and activities alongside its story conclusion. Hidden Mountain Chapter 3 will introduce two special bosses and two open-world field bosses, along with a variety of new gameplay features and activities.
Where Winds Meet Bamboo Cut–Draught is inspired by Jackie Chan's Drunken Master
Before Hidden Mountain Chapter 3 arrives, Where Winds Meet will add a new martial arts set called Bamboo Cut–Draught on 3 September. Inspired by Jackie Chan's Drunken Master, the style combines hard-hitting attacks with fluid and unpredictable movements based around the drunken master fighting style.

The new martial arts set also arrives as Everstone Studio continues working with established action directors on Where Winds Meet's combat. The studio recently appointed Yuen Woo-ping as the game's Global Action Consultant, following previous work with action director Stephen Tung Wai. Yuen is known for his work on Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, The Matrix, and The Grandmaster.
Where Winds Meet Extraction Mode and Ghost Month event

Where Winds Meet is also adding a new Extraction Mode that brings a Wuxia spin to the genre. Players will be able to approach runs in different ways, whether that means fighting head-on, disappearing into the shadows, disguising themselves using the environment, or looting treasure without drawing a blade. No release date has been announced for Extraction Mode yet.
The Ghost Month special event, meanwhile, is already available. The event draws on traditional Chinese folk culture and taboo legends, mixing Where Winds Meet's Wuxia setting with Chinese horror and supernatural elements.
Where Winds Meet nominated for Best Mobile Game at Gamescom Awards 2026

Where Winds Meet has also been nominated for Best Mobile Game at the Gamescom Awards 2026. The nomination comes alongside the game's 100 million-player milestone, as NetEase Games and Everstone Studio continue expanding Where Winds Meet through its Version 2.0 content.
