Roblox’s 99 Nights in the Forest has launched a brand-new limited-time mini-biome called the Bee Biome, bringing a population of bees near your base, a new challenge to complete, and a host of bee-themed rewards to purchase. Players can also unlock a free Bee Wolf skin by completing a new set of achievements.

How to play the Bee Biome in 99 Nights in the Forest
The Bee Biome, which can be found near your base, is a mini-biome centered around a giant beehive. Non-hostile bees populate the area, and while they only attack when provoked, they can be defeated for useful drops. The biome also features a new NPC who runs the Beekeeper Shop, a rotating shop where you can purchase weapons and various supplies.
To play the Bee Biome, you need to collect flowers scattered around the map and plant them in the small beehives surrounding the biome. Doing so generates Honey, a currency used to purchase items from the Beekeeper Shop.
You can interact with the small beehives using the "Plant Flowers" action, which submits a flower from your inventory. Each beehive can hold a maximum of 40 flowers. The more flowers you plant, the more Honey is generated per minute. Your Honey balance is displayed on the left side of your screen and only appears while you are inside the Bee Biome.
Once you've collected enough Honey, the giant beehive allows you to "Pollinate" the biome. This essentially functions as a rebirth mechanic, resetting your Honey while upgrading the map with additional small beehives. This lets you plant more flowers and generate Honey at a faster rate over time. Pollinating also adds more plants to your map, including chilies, strawberries, and flowers.
Here's how the flower-to-Honey production ratio works:
- 1 flower planted = 1 Honey/min
- 15 flowers planted = 3 Honey/min
- 40 flowers planted = 8 Honey/min
What items can be bought in the Beekeeper Shop?
Using Honey, you can purchase the following items from the Beekeeper Shop:
- Honeycomb – 10 Honey
- Jar o' Honey – 40 Honey
- Bee Stinger Spear – 100 Honey
- Bee Box Recipe Tablet – 360 Honey
- Regular Spear – 50 Honey
- Revolver Ammo – 15 Honey
- Rifle Ammo – 15 Honey
- Bee Grenade – 30 Honey
The Honeycomb is a consumable that restores a small amount of health and hunger, much like Cake. It can also be cooked with a Morsel in a Crock Pot to create Candied Meat, which restores significantly more health and hunger. A Jar o' Honey instantly restores both your health and hunger to maximum when consumed.
The Bee Biome also introduces new weapons. The Bee Stinger Spear functions like a regular spear but features a unique design and a larger hitbox. Meanwhile, the Bee Grenade (which comes with three charges) coats a target area in honey, freezing enemies and their movement for several seconds.
The most expensive new item is the Bee Box Recipe Tablet. Once submitted to the base grinder, it unlocks the recipe for crafting a Bee Box. This structure can be built multiple times in your base and produces Honeycombs every two days. The shop also sells revolver and rifle ammunition.
The Beekeeper Shop's inventory rotates every one or two days, depending on your giant beehive's level. It also uses shared stock, meaning that if another player purchases a limited-stock item, such as the Bee Stinger Spear, no one else can buy it until the shop restocks during the next rotation. Keep in mind that both the Bee Biome and the Beekeeper Shop are inactive at night.
How to get the Bee Wolf skin
A brand-new bee-themed Wolf skin is available for free in 99 Nights in the Forest, but you'll first need to complete the following achievements:
- APIARY: Level up three beehives to Level 3 in a single game.
- Beekeeping: Pollinate 10 times (progress carries across multiple runs).
- Hivecraft: Purchase the Bee Box Recipe Tablet from the Beekeeper Shop.
