Night City’s Edgerunners are coming to Apex Legends.
Electronic Arts has officially announced the Apex Legends x Cyberpunk event, which is set to run from 14 July to 4 August, 2026. This new event adds Night City from Cyberpunk 2077 and cosmetics from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners to Respawn’s battle royale game, along with gameplay-altering Cyberware mods.

What is the Apex Legends x Cyberpunk event?
Apex Legends is getting an all-new collab, this time crossing over with the world of CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk game franchise. The collab contains a mix of references to both the Cyberpunk 2077 open-world game and its anime spin-off Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, via gameplay pick-ups, map takeovers, and new cosmetics.
First off, Apex Legends is getting two new Cyberware mods from Cyberpunk 2077: the Sandevistan and Blackwall Breach. Here’s what they can do:
- Sandevistan: Quick dashes in any direction that recharge your shields. Chain two dashes before touching ground to close gaps or ghost out of danger.
- Blackwall Breach: Phase into the Net to reposition, then unleash a disruptive EMP that cracks enemy shields and tracks their location.
Every piece of equipped Cyberware will increase the player’s Cyberware Capacity. Once they hit their limit, they’ll become a Cyberpsycho and gain the following attributes:
- High movement speed
- Devastating melee damage
- No weapons
- No abilities
- No shields
- No ordnance
However, they’ll also be able to reverse Cyberpsychosis effects by using Immunoblocker Syringes or Immunoblocker Caches.
Apex Legends Night City map takeover
The E-District map is getting a makeover, styled after Cyberpunk 2077’s iconic Night City. The neon-drenched map will now feature holographic koi, glitchy signage, and more visual flourishes themed after the game’s world.

Legend Skins themed after Cyberpunk 2077 and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners are also coming to Axle (Lucy), Sparrow (David), Lifeline, Crypto, Rampart (Rebecca), Loba (Panam), Ash (Lizzy Wizzy), Gibraltar (Royce). Eight weapon skins for Wingman, Charge Rifle, Mastiff, L-STAR, P2020, RE-45, R-301, and Kraber are also included in this collab.
The Mythic Skippy Alternator will also be available, with both a “Puppy Loving Pacifist” or “Stone Cold Killer” mode. Skippy can be upgraded with Exotic Shards to unlock new effects, like ordnance skins, knock effects, and visuals.
A Reward Shop filled with cosmetics, including an Arasaka Flight Protocol Epic Valkyrie Skin, a Kang-Tao Specter Epic Mirage Skin, and more, will also be available. These items can be purchased with Eddies earned during the event.
Additionally, Apex Legends is also partnering up with Youtooz to create Lucy and Rebecca-themed Nessie plush toys. These toys can be pre-ordered from 15 July to 18 August, 2026.
The Apex Legends x Cyberpunk Event will run for just under a month, from 14 July to 4 August, 2026.
