Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is shaping up nicely.
Game developers Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog have revealed a new look at the upcoming Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis remake. The game remakes Tomb Raider (1996) with flashy modern visuals, though it has suffered a slight delay. Originally set for a 2026 release window, the game will now launch on 12 February, 2027.

What is Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis like?
Game developers Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog turned up at this week’s State of Play game showcase to confirm a delay for their upcoming Tomb Raider (1996) remake, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis. The game was originally set for a 2026 launch window ahead of 2027’s new Tomb Raider game, Tomb Raider Catalyst.
Now, the game is set to launch on 12 February, 2027–with no word of a delay for the latter game, either. That means players might get two slightly different takes on Lara Croft in the same year, starting with Legacy of Atlantis.
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis reimagines the iconic 1996 Tomb Raider video game, bringing players back to Peru’s Lost Valley and the ruins of Greece. Puzzles have been rebuilt from the ground up, with players now able to explore semi-connected environments, rather than a series of isolated rooms.
