Here’s everything new in ARC Raider’s Riven Tides update.
In what seems like ARC Raider’s biggest update yet, Embark Studios have launched tons of new content to explore with a new beach area featuring a floating giant ARC enemy, alongside a range of new gear and cosmetics, arriving as part of the Riven Tides update.
So Raiders, buckle up. We have compiled all the new content entering Rust Belt below.
What’s new in the ARC Raiders Riven Tides update?
An abandoned beach with buried treasures

The new map, Riven Tides, is located on the western coast of the Rust Belt. It features an abandoned shoreline with structures such as Exodus Port and a once-luxurious hotel known as Panorama Azurro, both of which contain mysterious treasures for players to extract.
Players can also uncover hidden loot buried in the sand through a new activity called Beachcombing. Using a new Common Gadget, Dockmaster’s Detector, obtainable via the Raider Project, players can scan the shoreline to reveal random buried loot, with Embark teasing the possibility of valuable discoveries.
ARC Turbine enters as a new boss enemy

It will be hard to miss a gigantic patrolling machine, known as the ARC Turbine, once players step into Riven Tides. Although generally docile, it provides powerful defensive abilities when approached.
The machine feels like a mini-boss to some, with Embark warning players of its difficulty: “Its defensive abilities are brutal, posing a new challenge to Raiders and demanding skill, patience, and nerves in equal measure.”
New items hint at potential aerial combat
The update introduces new items, including an Uncommon Throwable “Crash Mat” and an Epic Gadget “Powered Descender”, both designed to help players manage or survive falls from extreme heights. Their introduction, alongside the floating ARC boss, has led players to speculate about possible aerial combat mechanics to unfold.
What is the new event and Raider Project?
Embark has also launched a limited-time event called Last Resort, running from 28 April to 25 May. This event converts gameplay XP into Merits, which can be spent to unlock rewards including the Junior Outfit, Hydrologist Backpack, Hose Attachment, Brass Faucet charm, new emotes, and x250 total Raider Tokens.
Players can also hunt down miniature ship models to earn bonus Merits. These are the “Wind Sprite” Ship Model, “Twilight Compass” Ship Model, “Velocity” Ship Model, “Sirena Dorata” Ship Model, and “Leviathan’s Crown” Ship Model.
A new Raider Project titled Avian Alarm is also here, in which players are tasked to construct a makeshift security system to detect tremors and atmospheric changes, as well as deploying cages to capture birds for the system. Completing all five stages of the Raider Project rewards players with the Dockmaster’s Detector (used for Beachcombing), Gel Patches, additional emotes, and Raider Tokens.
More cosmetics revealed

Embark has not left out the shiny hat lovers as well, introducing several new cosmetic sets. The first wave released at launch includes the Solare Set and the Rachetta Set. Additional outfits will roll out throughout May, including the Corsaro Set, Castaway Set, and Sandveil Set.
