Should you pull for Cheerleader King Halo?
[Cheerleader in Noble White] King Halo
Aptitudes:
| Turf | A |
| Dirt | G |
| Sprint | A |
| Mile | B |
| Medium | B |
| Long | C |
| Frontrunner | G |
| Pace Chaser | B |
| Late Surger | A |
| End Closer | D |
Stat growth bonuses: Speed (10%), Power (10%), Guts (10%)
Unique skill: Louder! Tracen Cheer!
If the user stays toward the very back during the first half of the race without being rushed, unleash fighting spirit to increase acceleration on the final straight.
Cheerleader King Halo retains a lot of the versatility of her original version, specialising in Sprints but well able to run in Mile, Medium, and Long races with the right Sparks while switching between Pace Chaser and Late Surger running styles. With that said, Cheerleader King Halo is a straight upgrade from her original version when it comes to the skills she has access to.
Cheerleader King Halo's innate skills include Spring Runner, Gap Closer, Outer Swell, Watchful Eye, Rising Dragon, Late Surger Straightaways, and Spring Spectacle. While you lose out on Blinding Flash from her original version, most of Cheerleader King Halo's innate skills can be used in any tracks, though she does become more powerful in Spring races thanks to Spring Spectacle. Cheerleader King Halo's unique skill granting acceleration in the final straight is also more useful compared to that of her original version, as late-race acceleration is more important for Late Surgers but harder to acquire compared to more accessible velocity-increasing skills.
If you don't think King Halo's original version doesn't quite capture just how much of a first-rate uma she is, then her new Cheerleader version will certainly not disappoint.
Should you pull for Cheerleader Nice Nature?
[Run & Win] Nice Nature
Aptitudes:
| Turf | A |
| Dirt | G |
| Sprint | G |
| Mile | C |
| Medium | A |
| Long | A |
| Frontrunner | F |
| Pace Chaser | B |
| Late Surger | A |
| End Closer | D |
Stat growth bonuses: Stamina (10%), Power (10%), Wit (10%)
Unique skill: Go☆Go☆Goal!
If the user passes another runner on the final corner or later, increase velocity from the midpack onward on the final straight. If the user isn't one of the top favorites, muster resolve to keep steadily increasing velocity.
While Nice Nature's original version mostly features debuffing skills, her Cheerleader version strikes a nice balance between having strong debuff and racing skills. Cheerleader Nice Nature's innate skills include Nimble Navigator, Tether, Late Surger Savvy, Take the Chance, Dominator, Long Shot, and No Stopping Me! No Stopping Me! is notably a very strong skill to have innately for a Late Surger, which should allow you to slot in support cards that give late-race acceleration and velocity skills without having to worry about getting blocked.
Cheerleader Nice Nature's unique skill goes a long way in letting her have a strong final spurt. Its stronger effect, if she isn't a top favourite, is the cherry on top, being a nod to her (nice) nature as an underdog. When combined with her innate access to No Stopping Me! and other strong Late Surger skills like On Your Left!, Cheerleader Nice Nature can reliably snatch wins from under the noses of her rivals. In addition, her distance aptitudes also lets you easily farm bonus stats from the Trackblazer scenario epithets with some Mile Sparks.
With that said, think of Cheerleader Nice Nature as a side-grade to her original version. If you want a strong debuffer to help your ace racer excel in Champions Meetings, then Nice Nature's original version is still the stronger pick. But if you want Nice Nature to be your team's star instead (as you should), then Cheerleader Nice Nature can be a strong ace while still retaining strong debuff abilities. Any Carats you spend on getting Cheerleader Nice Nature will be well worth it, just to see her get her well-deserved victories.
