Invincible VS reveals final launch fighter Conquest, open beta dates and DLC plans confirmed

Conquest joins the roster, with open beta dates and first DLC characters now revealed.

The roster for Invincible VS is now locked in, and it’s going out with a heavy hitter. Skybound Games and Quarter Up have confirmed that Conquest will round out the 18 playable fighters available at launch, alongside new details on the upcoming open beta and the game’s first wave of DLC characters.

Invincible VS

Release Date: 30 April, 2026

Platforms:  PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Microsoft Windows

Developer: Quarter Up

Who is Conquest in Invincible VS and how does he play?

Conquest arrives as a high-pressure “Striker” built to overwhelm opponents with relentless offence. According to the official reveal, he is “capable of applying immense pressure” through a mix of powerful strikes, counter projectiles, and a charging punch that ramps up in speed while gaining super armour.

Players are encouraged to “time your armoured abilities to blast through your opponent’s feeble attacks,” positioning Conquest as a bruiser-style character who thrives on aggression and well-timed engagements, rather than defensive play.

When is the Invincible VS open beta and what modes are included?

Quarter Up also confirmed that the Invincible VS open beta will run from 10:00 AM PDT on 9 April, through 9:00 PM PDT/ 1:00 AM SGT on 11 April, giving players an early look at the three-versus-three tag fighter ahead of launch.

During the beta, players will have access to three modes:

  • Tutorial
  • Practice
  • Ranked

Participants will also receive a bonus Omni-Man skin, with more details on the cosmetic set to be revealed separately.

Which characters and maps are available in the beta?

The open beta will feature a smaller slice of the full roster, with 10 playable characters available including Mark (Invincible), Atom Eve, Omni-Man, Allen, Battle Beast, Rex Splode, Robot, Monster Girl, Thula, and Bulletproof. Matches will take place across six arenas, which include Hometown Invasion (Night), The Moon, Ka-Hor’s Tomb (Day), Himalayas, Kinetic Chamber, and Training Room.

Invincible VS post-launch DLC fighters

Beyond launch, Skybound Games confirmed that Universa and the Immortal will be the first downloadable content characters arriving in summer 2026.

Universa is described as an “energy-siphoning antagonist” who recently appeared in Season 4 of the Invincible animated series on Prime Video, while the Immortal returns as a long-standing member of the Guardians of the Globe, known for repeatedly sacrificing himself in battle. The announcement also notes that these two will not be the only post-launch additions, with more fighters planned in the months following release.

When does Invincible VS come out?

Invincible VS launches on 30 April for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store. The open beta will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series from 9 to 11 April, 2026.
