LCP Split 2 Format explained
Split 2 will begin with the Regular Season that features a single round-robin Best-of-3 (BO3) format. The top six teams will then advance to the Knockout Stage.
From there, teams will compete in a hybrid elimination Best-of-5 (BO5) bracket, with the eventual Split 2 champion securing a direct berth to MSI. The second MSI slot will be awarded based on Championship Points, with the highest cumulative total across splits determining the final qualifier.

How will Championship Points be distributed in LCP Split 2?
With up to 55 Championship Points available in Split 2, every game will matter. During the Regular Season, teams earn Game Points (+1 for a win, -1 for a loss), which are then converted into Championship Points and doubled at the end of the stage. Additional Standing Points are awarded based on final placement, with first place earning seven points and descending accordingly.
Teams that fall into negative Championship Points from Game Points will have that portion reset to zero, though Standing Points remain intact.
In the Knockout Stage, the top four teams receive bonus points:
- 1st place: 20 points
- 2nd place: 15 points
- 3rd place: 10 points
- 4th place: 5 points
With both split performance and consistency factored in, the system ensures that every stage of the competition contributes to MSI qualification.
Coach Comms returns to bring real-time strategy to broadcasts

The feature offers fans live insight into team decision-making, showcasing real-time adaptations, shotcalling, and strategic adjustments mid-series.
