Warhammer 40,000 Rogue Trader reveals The Infinite Museion DLC starring Trazyn the Infinite

Abelard, unlock the vault.

Voidfarers who thought their journey through the Koronus Expanse was drawing to a close have new orders to answer. Owlcat Games has lifted the veil on the next expansion for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, confirming that a fan-favourite Necron overlord is stepping into the frame. The upcoming DLC, titled The Infinite Museion, centres on the infamous collector Trazyn the Infinite and his ever-growing vault of relics.

The reveal arrived via a short teaser trailer published on YouTube:

In the clip, Trazyn delivers a cryptic monologue while looming over a glowing green cube, before clearly enunciating his name. The tone sets up a storyline rooted in secrecy, obsession and the cold precision long associated with the Necrons.

According to the trailer’s official description: “Delve into a secret vault curated by Trazyn the Infinite himself. Discover Trazyn’s obsession with the Von Valancius dynasty, and choose whether to disrupt or fulfill his plans. Explore a glimpse of his fabled collection, claim priceless relics, and face off against guardians that defy understanding.”

The description further confirms that “a new companion joins your retinue with a distinct combat style that reshapes battlefield tactics.” It also details the addition of a new questline and a fresh mechanic called “Implants” which can be used strategically in battle, alongside a deeper dive into Necron conflicts.

Trazyn the Infinite headlines The Infinite Museion expansion

The Steam page for The Infinite Museion expands on the premise, reiterating that players will uncover Trazyn’s fixation on the Von Valancius dynasty and determine whether to thwart or advance his designs. It again references the incoming companion, described as having a combat approach that meaningfully alters battlefield tactics.

Beyond the narrative hook, the DLC is set to introduce new quests and zones, giving Rogue Traders fresh ground to cover. The implants mechanic is positioned as a battle-focused system, though Owlcat has yet to outline exactly how it will interact with existing builds and party compositions.

Concept art published on the Steam listing showcases Trazyn in full, alongside what appears to be a guardsman of the Death Korps of Krieg and a Chaos Space Marine. The imagery hints at the factions and conflicts that may shape the expansion’s story arc, though no further details have been confirmed.

Owlcat Games has not announced a release date for The Infinite Museion. Players can currently wishlist the DLC via the Steam page while awaiting additional information.
