God's favourite princess Shadowheart and Weave daddy Gale are set to make their appearance in the upcoming Secret Lair: Roll for Initiative Superdrop
Wizards of the Coast just announced a huge Secret Lair: Roll for Initiative Superdrop for Magic: The Gathering earlier today, and this time, the superdrop features characters, locations, monsters, and villains from Wizards of the Coast’s other IP Dungeons & Dragons.
Fan favourite characters Gale and Shadowheart, from the widely popular video game Baldur’s Gate 3, are also making a huge appearance in this superdrop, after Astarion and Karlach were featured in the previous Dungeon & Dragons 50th Anniversary Superdrop in 2024. This leaves the remaining Origin characters Lae'zel and Wyll without Secret Lair treatment yet, and with a two year wait between this new Superdrop and the previous, fans who want to get their hands on Lae'zel in a Secret Lair treatment will have to wait a while more.
Secret Lair x Dungeons & Dragons: Shadowheart's Devotion

Shadowheart, The Dark Justiciar gets a full art reprint after first appearing in Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur's Gate. God's favourite princess will also appear in new art for the following cards: Beseech the Queen, Black Market, Victimize, and Ancient Bronze Dragon.
Quick note: the bronze dragon has to be Ansur, right?
Secret Lair x Dungeons & Dragons: Gale's Ambition

Gale, Waterdeep Prodigy also gets a full art reprint after first appearing in Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur's Gate. Gale will also appear in new art for the following cards (which actually would be decent inclusions for a Commander deck with Gale, Waterdeep Prodigy as its Commander): Arcane Denial, Archmage's Charm, Brainstorm, and Personal Tutor.
Secret Lair x Dungeons & Dragons: Black Lights & Dark Dragons

Displacer Kitten is set for a reprint, after first appearing in Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur's Gate. It is also the most expensive card in this Superdrop, so if you are in the market for a Displacer Kitten and you enjoy the art, this drop including Seasoned Dungeoneer, Tortured Existence, as well as Sefris of the Hidden Ways, is a must-have.
Secret Lair x Dungeons & Dragons: Shadows Over Baldur's Gate

Grim Hireling is also set for a reprint, after first appearing in Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur's Gate, and like Displacer Kitten, it is the next most expensive card in this Superdrop. This drop also features Wild-Magic Sorcerer, Xorn, and Prosper, Tome-Bound.
Secret Lair x Dungeons & Dragons: Whispers in Candlekeep

This drop features the following cards in new art: Counterspell, Dragonborn Champion, Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient, as well as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm.
Secret Lair x Dungeons & Dragons: Strahd's Descent

Strahd von Zarovich, the first of Ravenloft's darklords, makes an appearance in Magic: The Gathering as Strefan, Maurer Progenitor (and aptly so too as a vampire noble), alongside Bloodleteer of Aclazotz as “Cast-Off Consort”, End the Festivities, and Voldaren Estate as “Castle Ravenloft”.
Secret Lair x Dungeons & Dragons: Lands of the Forgotten Realms

This basic land drop will showcase famous locations across the Forgotten Realms, including what looks like Waterdeep on the plains, Skullport on the island, Neverwinter on the mountain, the Underdark on the swamp, and Tomb of Annihilation on the forest (I might be wrong, so please don't come after me). Do note that you will only get 2 of each basic land in this drop.
This Superdrop will arrive on 1am (GMT+8), 10 February. Each individual drop can be attained at either US$29.99 for the non-foil, or US$39.99 for the foil. Otherwise, you can get all of the Superdrop at US$464.99 for both the foils and non-foils, US$269.99 if you just want all of the foils, and US$199.99 for all of the non-foils.
