Marvel Rivals is giving Loki a gender-bent skin.
NetEase Games has unveiled a long-anticipated skin for Marvel Rivals: Lady Loki. That’s right, the shape-shifting Nordic god of mischief is getting a gender-bent skin with all-new voice lines recorded by actor Abby Trott, who also voices Magik in-game. The skin will be released this week, though its price point has not been revealed.

Marvel Rivals has been teasing an upcoming Lady Loki skin for some time now, starting with the release of a comic book page featuring various twists on popular characters, such as Capwolf. Players had gathered that an impending Lady Loki skin launch was in the works after that, but feared that she would take the form of a Hela skin, rather than be applied to Loki directly.
Those fears have been assuaged as of today, with NetEase confirming that not only is its upcoming Lady Loki skin an actual Loki skin, but it also includes all-new voice lines from existing cast member Abby Trott (Magik). The skin is as comic-accurate as it gets, redesigning the canonically genderfluid Loki as Lady Loki, a transformation the god adopted following the conclusion of Marvel Comics’ 2004 Ragnarok storyline.
In all other aspects, Lady Loki is functionally similar to Loki–armed with the same abilities and role as a Strategist, only with a new look and slightly altered voice lines. This is possibly the most intricate cosmetic NetEase has released for Marvel Rivals yet, though it doesn’t seem to allow for swappable accessories like Jeff’s Business Shark skin.
Some players online have noted that NetEase might have now opened the doors to similar cosmetics for other variations of classic super hero monikers, like Sam Wilson’s Captain America or Jane Foster’s Thor. However, others have also noted that, unlike Sam Wilson and Steve Rogers, Lady Loki and Loki are not two separate people–they are one and the same.
NetEase has been known to overlook this small fact in the past, as some of Flash Thompson’s Venom designs from Marvel Comics have also been applied to Eddie Brock’s Venom in Marvel Rivals.
Either way, Lady Loki is officially arriving in Marvel Rivals on 1 January, 2026, and will be available for a limited time only, until 29 January, 2026.
