Palworld launches "Home Sweet Home" update featuring ULTRAKILL crossover and new PvP mode

Palworld's Home Sweet Home update has added new collaboration items, including an early version of a PvP mode.

Palword has launched the new patch, Version 0.7, together alongside its new ULTRAKILL collaboration. The update, dubbed ‘Home Sweet Home’ is filled with significant additions and improvements including the long-awaited PvP feature, which remains in an experimentational phase.

On the release of v0.7, communications director and publishing manager of Pocketpair, the developer of Palworld, posted:

Home Sweet Home won’t be as content heavy as you might like, but it lays the groundwork and foundation towards making Palworld 1.0 the best ever!

This update puts a lot of groundwork in as we work towards our MASSIVE 1.0 release in 2026, but we have lots of little surprises in this update so check it out.”

Palworld x ULTRAKILL collab items

Palworld has added new armor sets and a pair of iconic weapons inspired by the first-person-shooter title ULTRAKILL. The collab added two armor sets, with the V1 armor costing 3 Ancient Technology points, and the V2 armor costing 5 Ancient Technology points. Both armor sets come with the Blood is Fuel effect, which repairs armor when dealing damage in combat.

The new weapons are the Marksman Revolver, Core Eject Shotgun, Legendary Marksman Revolver, and the Legendary Core Eject Shotgun.

More improvements in Palworld

Fitting to its Home Sweet Home theme, Palword introduces improvements in building, with 48 new building parts–including triangular pieces–and the ability to change the color of some buildings and foundations.

There are also Raid Boss improvements with a new raid boss, battlefield, and the option to challenge raid bosses in their base or a separate battlefield. On top of that, melee combat, particularly the swords, katana, and beam swords, also received enhancements with new combo and special attacks.

New PvP feature is launched

A major highlight of the version 0.7 update is the new PvP feature launched in Palworld. Players can now enable the PvP feature on their server, which allows players to harm each other. This mode also make base Pals hostile by entering another player’s base, allowing players to access chests by other guilds and more.

Pocketpair has noted that this PvP feature is still in the experimental phase, so bugs and balancing issues may occur.
