Fortnite adds K-pop Demon Hunters Rumi, Mira, and Zoey

Sealing the Honmoon on the Islands.

Looks like demons are running loose across the Island, and the K-pop Demon Hunters are answering the call. Rumi, Mira and Zoey are arriving to seal the Honmoon in Fortnite and keep the demons out for good.

HUNTR/X Zoey, Mira and Rumi revealed

The reveal of the HUNTR/X trio was rolled out step by step, building anticipation before the collaboration lands in-game. Zoey was the first to be teased, with singer Rei Ami,  who provides her singing voice in K-pop Demon Hunters, sharing a glimpse of her skin on TikTok and Instagram. In the movie, Zoey is the main rapper and maknae (youngest) of HUNTR/X. A Korean American from Burbank, California, she is known for her lively personality, mastery of throwing knives, and her role as a secret demon hunter wielding spiritual abilities.

Next came Mira, whose skin surfaced in Fortnite's reply on X (formerly Twitter) that quickly spread to Reddit. Voiced by May Hong, Mira is the group’s lead dancer and choreographer. She is portrayed as rebellious, passionate and sensitive, with a guarded nature that transforms into loyalty once she learns to trust.

Finally, Rumi was unveiled in an IGN exclusive. As the leader and main vocalist of HUNTR/X, Rumi completes the line-up just in time for their Fortnite debut. Her reveal finalised the trio’s looks, giving players a full picture of the crossover before launch.

Demon Rush with Fortnitemares to arrive early

The collaboration goes beyond cosmetics. Epic confirmed that Rumi, Mira and Zoey will front Demon Rush, a themed twist on the beloved Horde Rush mode, tying directly into their demon-hunting story. Players will also be able to purchase the full set of HUNTR/X skins through the Fortnite shop starting 2 October.

Their arrival comes with the launch of Demon Rush, a twist on the beloved  Horde Rush mode where players team up with the trio to fend off waves of supernatural enemies.  Demon Rush is already listed on Fortnite’s Discover tile with a countdown running until it officially launches.

This also means that Fortnitemares is arriving early. Fortnitemares will bring even more Halloween icons to the Island. Alongside HUNTR/X, players can expect the likes of Ghostface (Scream), Jason Voorhees (Friday the 13th), the Scooby-Doo gang, Terrifier’s Art the Clown, and even Doja Cat.

The Fortnite x K-pop Demon hunters collab builds on the momentum of the animated film, K-pop Demon Hunters, that became a global phenomenon earlier this year. Released this summer, it broke Netflix records to become the platform’s most-watched title ever, surpassing 325 million views. A sing-along version is already available, and Netflix has confirmed sequels, a stage musical, and a live-action remake are in development.
