Monster Hunter Outlanders drops new trailer
The TiMi Studio Group-developed mobile game Monster Hunter Outlanders takes the renowned action-RPG franchise on the go, as showcased in its latest trailer. The game takes place on a strange island, where players–or rather, Hunters–are tasked with exploring the land and slaying various creatures for sweet, sweet loot.
The trailer was dropped during Tokyo Game Show 2025, wherein Level Infinite also showcased Monster Hunter Outlanders via public demos for the first time. Speaking on its presence at the event, TiMi Studio group producer Dong Huang stated:
“Fans at Tokyo Game Show will be among the first to try the game, but this is just one aspect of the game’s many features. With the first Closed Beta coming in November, we are currently working hard so that players can experience the game’s many appealing features. Please stay tuned for more details!”
Capcom producer Genki Sunano added:
“I believe that this title, Monster Hunter Outlanders on which we are collaborating with TiMi Studio Group has great potential. We’re thrilled for fans to jump in and experience the franchise in a new and exciting way.”
More Monster Hunter Outlanders details revealed, plus upcoming Closed Beta
In Monster Hunter Outlanders, players step into the shoes of the Adventurer, the game’s protagonist, with each Adventurer possessing specific hunting skills. The game also features simplified button controls designed for mobile gameplay.
Interestingly, the game adds new companions on top of the returning Palicos, including the Rutaco and Trillan, the latter two of which are exclusive to Outlanders. The game’s setting of Aesoland features multiple biomes, and is home to Radiant Species of monsters, who have been transformed by a unique local mineral called Radiantite.
Monster Hunter Outlanders is also entering Closed Beta this November in certain regions. Players can sign up on the official website to participate in the upcoming beta. We played Monster Hunter Outlanders at Tokyo Game Show ourselves this week, and found it to be surprisingly fluid.
Stay tuned to our early impressions of all the demos we played at Tokyo Game Show 2025!
