Steam’s Autumn Sale has gone live with massive discounts, kicking off the 2023 Steam Awards nominations.

Steam’s 2023 Autumn Sale has officially gone live with a huge list of discounts for your favourite games, all up for grabs until the sale ends at 10am PT on November 28. The sale also heralds the return of the 2023 Steam Awards nominations, allowing players to throw in votes for their favourite games this year across 11 different categories.

The 2023 Steam Autumn Sale highlights

If you’re looking to pick up a few games before the holiday season kicks in, this would be a great time to dive into your wishlist and start looking at discounts. A colourful variety of games ranging from AAA titles to indie games are on sale this year, and many of them have been given rather generous discounts. The little known indie game GTA V, for example, is 64% off. Here’s a list of highlights from the sale I found at first glance:

Of course, there are loads more games on sale beyond these. Check out the sale and grab a few free stickers while you’re at it, because why not? And before you ask, no: Baldur’s Gate 3 is not on sale.

The 2023 Steam Awards

The 2023 Steam Awards nominations have also gone live with the Autumn Sale, allowing you to nominate games across 11 interesting categories that Valve clearly has fun making up every year:

  • Game of the year
  • VR game of the year
  • Labor of love
  • Best Game on Steam Deck
  • Better with friends
  • Outstanding visual style
  • Best game you suck at
  • Best soundtrack
  • Outstanding story-rich game
  • Sit back and relax
  • Best game on the go

The nomination period will stay open until the 2023 Autumn Sale ends on November 28, and voting for the winners will begin when the 2023 Winter Sale kicks off in December. You can get badges for profile XP just by nominating games this year, so give it a shot. What’s the best game you suck at?
