The conclusion to the Jurassic World trilogy brings back Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum to deal with a world overrun by dinosaurs.
The first trailer for Jurassic World Dominion shows us a world overrun by dinosaurs. Not only does the movie bring back castmembers from the last two Jurassic World movies, but the original cast of Jurassic Park as well: Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum.

Universal Pictures is touting this film as, “the epic conclusion to the Jurassic era,” uniting two generations from the franchise for the very first time. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard return as Owen Grady and Claire Dearing respectively. Rounding out the cast are Laura Dern as Ellie Sattler, Sam Neill as Alan Grant and Jeff Goldblum as Ian Malcolm.
Dominion’s story picks up four years after the events of Fallen Kingdom, when dinosaurs were first let loose to roam the planet after their home in Isla Nublar was destroyed. Dinosaurs now begrudgingly coexist alongside humans on Earth, hunting and living alongside them in a fragile balance - but it looks like humanity wants to tilt that balance back in their favour.
Jurassic World Dominion is directed by Colin Trevorrow, who returns after helming 2015’s Jurassic World. Several dinosaurs return from previous films, such as the Dilophosaurus, which ended up causing the demise of Dennis Nedry in Jurassic Park (1993). There are a few new dinosaurs in the mix too. A Giganotosaurus shows up towards the end of the trailer, causing Ian Malcom to remark, “Bigger. Why do they always have to go bigger?” Poor guy.
Jurassic World Dominion will hit theaters on 10 June, 2022.
