Road ends here for Team Spirit at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024

Team Spirit's journey at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 comes to an end following a 2:0 sweep in the lower brackets. 

BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 playoff has been steadily progressing, with two series per day. Things continued today with two more elimination series. First  Team Liquid sent Gaimin Gladiators packing – taking revenge on their nemesis in the first LAN of the 2024 year.

Azure Ray was the last hope for China and was considered the underdogs in this series, despite being completely stacked with veteran and highly decorated players. Team Spirit, a two-time TI championship team was thought to have the upper hand. But Azure Ray came prepared and definitely showed up.

Despite a very long start, the overall vibe of the series was in favour of Azure Ray. The first match was a whopping 53 minutes with Lou "Lou" Zhen having a perfect game on Troll Warlord. In the second game Azure Ray had a great start, stacking camps and ahead in networth. Team Spirit was trying to farm to catch up, but to no avail. With fantastic execution and itemization, taking team fights beautifully, Azure Ray just plowed through Team Spirit to take the game and series. 

Azure Ray continues in the lower brackets to face Team Liquid in the lower bracket semi-finals. 

Team Spirit goes home in 5-6th place with $45,000 in their pockets. 

The action continues tomorrow, February 15th with the upper bracket finals
