Quest Esports has become the Bali Major sweethearts and had fans around the world cheering them on to advance through the lower brackets. But it wasn't enough to fuel them to the grand finals where they would earn enough DPC points for the TI invite.
Team LiquidThis thrilling series started out with both teams neck and neck for the first 40 minutes of the first game. When Liquid finally came online, they just ran through Quest and closed out the game with a victory in their favor.
The second game looked like it might go to Liquid with a 2:0 sweep, but about 35 minutes in Quest turned the game around when Liquid tried to push high ground and got wiped. There was no way they could take the game after that had happened and another great fight/team wipe secured the win for Quest shortly after.
With things evened out, the third game was nothing less than thrilling and nonstop turns and swings of emotions and leads. Although Quest's draft was strong, Team Liquid was able to beat them with experience in the end.

Quest's journey at Bali Major was admirable and impressive, but they will need to punch their TI ticket via the regional qualifiers now. WEU will have two slots.
They walk away with a 4th-place finish and $50,000 in their pockets.
Their loss also means that BetBoom has officially clinched the 12th-place slot and regained their TI invite.
Team Liquid will continue to advance through the lower brackets tomorrow at 06:00 CEST and will look to exact revenge on Tundra who swept through them 2:0, sending Liquid to the lower brackets.
