A lot happens during a week in Dota 2, and not everything makes headlines. Here's what you might have missed as DPC Tour 3 Division II wrapped up. 

Nothing is ever stagnant or dull when it comes to the Dota 2 scene. Amidst the DPC league play, tournaments, Majors, patches, and roster swaps, more happens that don't always make the headlines. 

This is a bit of what happened in the last week that might have gotten missed, primarily in Division II of the DPC 2023 Tour 3 —who has been promoted and who needs to go through qualifiers to start off the next DPC season. 

• Notable teams that were promoted to Division I for the next DPC season. Some of these teams have been bouncing back and forth between Divisions. Others have been clawing their way back to their previous world-class status. A few have players in their lineups that are on the edge of greatness.

• Notable teams that have been dropped from Division II. These teams will need to qualify for a spot to compete in the DPC next season. Fans should expect some roster changes before TI qualifiers and definitely for next season.

• The International regional qualifier updates

The International returns to the US after four editions held around the world. TI7 was the last edition hosted by the Key Arena in Seattle, where Team Liquid lifted the Aegis of Champions. From there on, each year TI went to different parts of the globe. Key Arena, which now is Climate Pledge arena from Seattle will be the home for The International 2023. The event will run October 14 - 29 with the best 18 teams fighting for the trophy.

Only eight teams will qualify through the Regional Qualifiers; two teams from South America and Western Europe, and only one team each from North America, Eastern Europe, China, and Southeast Asia.
