Talon Esports and RSG promote to Southeast Asia Division 1 with clean 6-0 records

Week 5 in the Dota Pro Circuit Spring Tour started with a bang for RSG who kept their undefeated run intact to join Talon Esports at the top of the rankings and secure promotion for the Summer Tour.

RSG, which some of the Dota 2 fans may remember as Resurgence, came to the DPC system from open qualifiers at the start of the Spring Tour. Just a day before the regional leagues started, they signed ChubbyBoiz to make their third foray in the Dota 2 field and so far this is already the most impressive run for the Singaporean organization.

Across all regions and all divisions, RSG is the only team to boast a clean 12-0 game record, 6-0 series score. Their perfect, so far, Spring Tour performance has them promoted along with Talon Esports a week before the season is set to wrap up.

After struggling in the previous DPC tour to find footing in the Dota 2 scene with their starting roster, the revamped Talon Esports, with Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon taking the carry position and  Worawit "Q" Mekchai joining in the support 5 role, went 6-0 in the Spring Tour and were first to promote to Summer Tour Division 1.

On this coming Thursday, April 14, one of these two is bound to stain its spotless Spring Tour run. Talon Esports and RSG are scheduled to go head to head at 15:00 GMT+8 for supremacy in SEA Division 2, so make sure you tune in to see which one will end the season undefeated and which one will have to settle for second place.
