HellRaisers suspends all operations, Dota 2 roster looking for a new home

Ukrainian organization HellRaisers is forced to suspend all operations until the war in their country ends.

According to the announcement made via Twitter, all staff members of the organization will not lose their job and will continue to receive their payment “even while the project is on hold”

HellRaisers staff includes people from Russia, who stayed with their Ukrainian colleagues and are also under attack by Putin’s army, says HR. The CS:GO roster, which is full Ukrainian, is put on hold indefinitely while the mixed Kazakhstani-Russian Dota 2 team is looking to continue playing under a new tag.

According to Maria Gunina, HellRaisers director of esports, the organization is looking for options on relocating its Dota 2 players away “from the bloody dictator.” Maria Gunia, who also has a Russian passport, along with HR’s coach, Aleksandr "Nofear" Churochkin are also in Ukraine “trying to survive Putin’s army attack.”

“We’d like to keep our team as it is, but you don’t have to keep the management. Just let my boys compete together, please,” added Maria Gunia.

HellRaisers placed fourth in the Eastern Europe Winter Tour of the 2022 Dota Pro Circuit and third in the Regional Finals that concluded just four days before Russia began its invasion of Ukraine.
