Team SMG withdraw from BTS Pro Series 10

Team SMG withdraw from participating in BTS Pro Series 10 citing multiple issues.

On the heels of their third-place in the DPC SEA 2021-22 Winter Tour Regional Finals, Team SMG began to make a few roster changes for the upcoming season. Fans waiting to see the full lineup in action will have to wait longer.

SMG has announced they would be withdrawing from the BTS Pro Series 10.

Team SMG began playing in the event on February 16th as part of Phase II of the event. Immediately they had to play with various stand-ins for both Roger "Roddgeee" Tan Boon Thye who they bid farewell to on February 21st and Yeik "MidOne" Nai Zheng who reportedly has COVID.

They went 1:1 in the series against Polaris Esports and then lost their following three series 2:0 before withdrawing from the event. All of their matches and standings have been nullified.

The new DPC SEA 2021-22 Spring Tour will begin on March 16th —plenty of time for the issues to work themselves out and the team to begin to practice and work any kinks out.

The new lineup including Michael "ninjaboogie" Ross Jr who will be taking the leadership role will be participating in Division I.
