OG back to Majors; sieze last EU spot of MDL Disneyland Major

OG secured a place at MDL Disneyland Major -- their first for the 2018-2019 DPC season.

Europe was one of the lucky regions to be granted three slots for the MDL Disneyland Major.

After being dropped to the lower brackets by Team Liquid, OG's dreams for Disneyland weren't over yet. The TI8 championship team, including their full roster, cruised undefeated to the end.

The DreamGreen lineup took down Alliance in a rapid 2:0 sweep and then went to work on The Final Tribe, crushing them even faster.

This will be the first Major appearance by OG. They took 5-6th place at the Bucharest Minor and StarLadder ImbaTV Minor. Now that Ana has returned, the team has found their former spark and their rightful place among the stars. OG is currently sitting in position 29 with 48 points. 3821 points are needed to secure a TI9 invite but one Major title worth 4,950 points can easily change that.  And of course, Disneyland is where dreams come true.

From May 4th to May 12th, 16 of the best teams will battle it out at Disney’s Newport Bay Club and Disney® Events Arena which has a seating capacity of 6,300. As the fourth Major of the DPC 2018-2019 season, teams will be competing for the lion's share of the $1,000,000 prize pool and 15,000 DPC points.
