Team Liquid received the second and final direct invite for DreamLeague Season 9 scheduled for March.

The team also put up a tremendous fight against Newbee at ESL One Genting 2018 for a second place finish last week.

Defending champions, Team Secret, were the first of only two teams that was granted a direct invite into the main event taking place March 21st - 25th at the Monster Energy DreamHack Studios in Stockholm, Sweden.

DreamLeague Season 9 is set to kick off with its Regional Qualifiers and will run through February. Only three teams per region were invited to participate in the regional events alongside one open qualifier team. In the end, only one squad from each of the six designated regions will advance to the main event.
