compLexity Gaming DreamLeague Season 8 continue to impress as they took down Immortals 2:1 in the NA open qualifiers of DreamLeague Season 8 Major.

Only four teams will compete in the NA DreamLeague Season 8 Major group stage. Three teams were directly invited - Digital Chaos, Evil Geniuses, and OpTic Gaming. One spot was up for grabs via the open qualifiers, in which major league teams were forced into brutal knock down drag out battles.

compLexity Gaming, Immortals, VG J.Storm and Team Leviathan managed to all survive the brutal best-of-one elimination series and advance into the semi-finals. There, the four teams faced off with Immortals and compLexity Gaming taking the final fight to advance. CoL edged out the Korean Overlords with the 2:1 victory.

Both teams had already secured themselves two spots each in the upcoming Pro Circuit Major/Minor events - compLexity Gaming taking Starladder i-League Invitational Minor and Perfect World Masters Minor with Immortals seizing PGL Open Bucharest Minor and Dota Pit Minor, both with a chance to grab a maximum of 300 TI8 qualifying points.

compLexity Gaming will now face off against Digital Chaos, Evil Geniuses and Optic Gaming in a double elimination best-of-three format. Grand Finals will be best-of-five, winner take all series. The qualifiers are expected to start next month on November 4th.
