Mineski bring in 'ryOyr' and '.Ark' to finalize the new roster

It’s that time of the year when there is only one objective etched in the minds of the professional Dota 2 teams: To make it to ‘The International’! This year the seventh edition of the tournament organized by Valve will be taking place in Seattle and teams are reinforcing their squads with what they think is the best bet to get them to Seattle.

A few days ago, the roster shuffle news knocked on the doors of Mineski when they brought in CIS veteran Andrey ‘MAg’ Chipenko as the offlaner and it seemed Mineski were set to fight it out with this roster. But just five days after Mag had made his grand arrival, Mineski lost in the finals of two qualifiers on the 15th of May: 2-1 against WG.Unity in the Zotac Cup Masters SEA Qualifier #2 and 3-0 against Clutch Gamers in the MDL 2017 SEA Qualifier, in which they famously let slip a 40k networth lead in the second game.

Following the catastrophic turn of events, it seems the organization decided to make a few more changes to bolster the team. On the 21st of May, former TnC support Ryo ‘ryOyr’ Hasegawa and Egor ‘.Ark’ Zhabotinskii, who was playing position one for the Russian team Commanche till April 2017. Mineski bid adieu to Adam ‘343’ Shah who was playing with the team of a trial basis, along with Lee Kong ‘kYxY’ Yang and Nice ‘eyyou’ Barcelon, both of whom had joined in March along with captain Chai Yee ‘Mushi’ Fung. Ryan Jay 'Bimbo' Qui also departed the organization. The current roster of Mineski looks like this:

Russia Egor '.Ark' Zhabotinskii
Malaysia Chai Yee 'Mushi' Fung [C]
Ukraine Andrey 'MAg--' Chipenko
Philippines Ryo 'ryOyr' Hasegawa
United States Mike 'ninjaboogie' Ross Jr.

While ryOyr is a name in the SEA region, little is known about Ark. Hailing from Russia, the 19 year old carry has managed to hit 8000 MMR. One can guess that Ark has made it to the Philippines on the recommendation of MAg, who would be having a better idea than most about the CIS scene. Whether under Mushi’s guidance, the young Russian will flourish or not, only time will tell. One thing is for sure, we’ll be hearing a lot of ‘Cyka Bylat’ from the Mineski bootcamp!
