According to the official announcement made by compLexity Gaming, Mihai 'canceL^^' Antonio “was the first to point out that he was not performing at the level the team needed, nor what he expected of himself”. Last night, after a team meeting, both canceL^^ and coL mutually agreed on him to stepping down from the roster, leaving the NA squad with no other option than fighting for a spot at the upcoming Kiev Major from the open qualifiers.
Mihai 'canceL^^' Antonio’s official statement:
canceL^^ joined compLexity Gaming during the Kiev Major Shuffle, on September 17, becoming the only foreigner on the american squad. Upon his arrival at coL, canceL^^ was one of the newcomers to the big scene, his previous competitive experience resuming at the full Romanian rosters of XPC.ro and a brief tenure at Kaipi. However, even before joining compLexity, canceL^^ has been one of the most known Romanian streamers. coL’s General Manager Kyle 'Beef' Bautista mentioned in his official statement regarding canceL’s departure that he hopes he will be able to return to the organization as a streamer and Dota 2 personality.
Kyle 'Beef' Bautista’s official statement:
