After being a part of the coL DotA 2 line-up for two months, Justin “jk” Rosselle is leaving the team, just weeks before The Boston Major kicks off.
With only a few weeks remaining until The Boston Major, compLexity Gaming will be looking to utilise the new substitute ruling which Valve has put in place. Justin ‘jk’ Rosselle has stepped down from his spot in the team and according to their website he will remain within the organization but has conveyed that he does not want to be a part of the team anymore. This puts coL in a tough spot as they are set to take part in the Northern Arena BEAT Invitational this coming weekend, however they will be attempting to bring in their substitute before the event but there could be issues with this occurring on such short notice. Execration were able to invoke this substitute clause just last week so coL should hopefully be able to find a suitable replacement within the next few days.
With regards to their place in the Major and the Invitational, coL have stated the following:
The compLexity Gaming team continued on to issue an apology to their fans, other teams and ESL after they were unable to field a team to play Team NP last night.
We look forward to seeing compLexity Gaming's substitute and how quickly he can adapt and fit into the teams composition and play style along with their progress through the upcoming Major.
