Following their recent disastrous result from the Boston Major Qualifiers, Na’Vi announced today their decision to drop out of DreamLeague Season 6.
Ad Finem, the European qualifiers winners for the Boston Major, will replace Na’Vi and will inherit their 1-1 score. Luckily, Na’Vi had most of their games scheduled for the last two weeks of the League Play, making the organizers’ job a bit easier.
Na’Vi’s manager, Igor 'caff' Sidorenko has made the following statement regarding the team’s decision:
The last sentence of the statement points out at some possible roster changes or possibly an even worse scenario. Earlier today, before the DreamLeague announcement was made official, Danil 'Dendi' Ishutin made a post on his twitter account stating that it’s weird that a player like DkPhobos is teamless.
At the same time, the Russian commentator Vitalii 'v1lat' Volochai, who acted as the manager of Team Ukraine at the WESG Kiev LAN qualifiers, was the first to call out the imminent roster change on social media.
Taking into consideration that from the entire CIS scene only Virtus Pro will participate at the Boston Major, it wouldn’t be surprising to see massive roster swaps in the coming weeks across the entire region.
