Valve released the long awaited Treasure II for the Boston Major along with a True Sight Episode 2 teaser.
An update has been dispatched to the main client that delivers the second out of three Treasures available from the Dota 2 store and as rewards for Battle Pass owners. The chest contains one out of five sets for Lion, Silencer, Storm Spirit, Dark Seer and Treant Protector. Each one also has the usual chance for a bonus Very Rare Spirit Breaker and Extremely Rare Juggernaut sets, with the now well known escalating odds. I would personally like to remind those of you, who haven’t played Diablo 2 or haven’t heard of people who bought more than 250 chests for the Faceless Rex courier, that even a 95% chance of hitting something doesn’t mean you won’t miss the first few swings.
The update includes more exclusive stuff to the Battle Pass owners, namely a new Quest Path. It contains a total of six hero specific challenges. One must complete all six to unlock the middle quest, which is the only one non-hero specific and involves consuming 1/2/3 cheeses. All challenges grand Battle Points and the final one awards a special Halloween-themed courier. It’s dubbed “The Twin Fork” and it will only last till November the 14th 2016.
In a sprinkle on the top style, the final part of the update is a teaser trailer for True Sight episode 2, EG’s path to the Boston Major. The full episode will be available on November 30th 2016.
