Vega Squadron secured four out the five players for the Fall Shuffle at the beginning of August, today they announced Bogdan 'Iceberg' Vasylenko joining them as well, plus the addition of a second manager for their Dota 2 squad.
Vega Squadron’s new line up looks quite strong with the addition of ex-Team Spirit player Bogdan 'Iceberg' Vasylenko. Regarded as one of the very talented young players from the CIS scene, Iceberg started his competitive career at Duza Gaming in 2014, spent a few months at Aspera and CIS Rejects in 2015 and established a name for himself once he joined Team Spirit in December last year. Although Team Spirit haven’t accomplished great results since their formation, two of their youngest players stood out and Iceberg at 19 years old impressed everyone with his plays on heroes like Invoker, Zeus, Dragon Knight or Tiny.
He’s always had constant and strong performances with Team Spirit and his space creation ability for his even younger carry, Roman 'RAMZES666' Kushnarev was a key factor for TS qualifying for LAN events like MarsTV Dota 2 League in 2015, Shanghai Major and WePlay in 2016.
Iceberg’s statement after joining Vega Squadron:
While Iceberg’s team mate, the 16 year old CIS prodigy carry player RAMZES666 found a home for the Fall Season with Virtus. Pro, the fired manager from VP during the great disband of the squad, Georgy 'drAmer' Faleev will join forces with Alexander 'OneLuckyDay' Kazannikov at Vega Squadron.
Vega Squadron roster from position 1 to 5:
Rostislav 'Fn' Lozovoi
Bogdan 'Iceberg' Vasylenko
Andrey 'MAg-' Chipenko
Artsiom 'Fng' Barshak (captain)
Syoma 'CeMaTheSlayeR' Krivulya

Georgy "drAmer" Faleev
Alexander "OneLuckyDay" Kazannikov
The new Vega Squadron roster will debut on 24th of August at WCA European Regional Qualifiers when they will play against Alliance, the returning champions of WCA 2015 who didn't get a direct invite at this year’s edition. The bo3 match up Alliance vs Vega Squadron is scheduled to start at 17:00 CEST.
