15,000 Dollars on the line at the first ever International Cosplay contest

Cosplay popularity among the Dota 2 fans is growing rapidly and after the Manila Major and the ESL One Frankfurt 2016 contests where cosplayers reached a whole new level of professionalism with their costumes, Valve sets the bar even higher with the first ever competition organized at an International.

The International 6 Cosplay competition will take place on the big stage of KeyArena in Seattle during the main event, on the 11th of August with no less than $15,000 prize pool distributed among the 15 finalists. For those interested in showing off their crafts and Cosplay talent, the registrations are already open and free to everyone as the competitors are not required to have a TI6 ticket. All the registered cosplayers will participate on August 10th at a prejudging phase which will also be held at KeyArena. Registrations can be done here starting today until the 9th of August at 12 AM Pacific Time, but keep in mind that only persons above 18 years old are allowed to fill out the form.

TI6 Cosplay Contest prize pool distribution:

1st place: $3,500
2nd place: $2500
3rd place: $1500
4th - 15th place: $500
