After the dissolution of their entire squad, Team Empire has announced their new line-up, with Afterlife taking the captain role for the new incarnation of the team and Scandal making a long awaited comeback to his first home team.
Two days ago, Team Empire decided to approach the new season with a fresh roster and chose to release all of their players.
The young carry player Roman 'RAMZES666' Kushnarev might have had a rough Shanghai Major run, losing his keyboard twice in China. Hopefully, with Team Empire as his new home, RAMZES666 will finish the season strong. RAMZES666's former Team Spirit colleague, Vasily 'Afterlife' Shishkin, will also be joining him as the new Empire's captain.
One of the more interesting features of the new roster is the return of the old time Empire player, Roman 'Scandal' Sadotenkov, who started his professional career as an Empire member back in 2011.
At the end of 2013 Scandal decided to leave the team due to some alleged communications problems with Empire’s CEO Aleksandr 'StrangeR' Solomonov. Back then it was Resolut1on who stepped in to fill the mid lane and captain roles left free by Scandal, fast forward two years, Resolut1ion starts a North American adventure and Scandal comes back to fill the mid role for Team Empire.
Team Empire roster:
Roman 'RAMZES666' Kushnarev
Roman 'Scandal' Sadotenkov
Vasily 'Afterlife' Shishkin
Yaroslav 'Miposhka' Naidenov
Rinat 'KingR' Abdullin
