The Hitbox Elite Cup organizers are striking back with a new tournament designed with a monthly series featuring, for the time being, a $3,000 prize pool. 22nd of March will mark the debut of WellPlay invitational.
Eight invited teams from Europe and CIS regions will compete at the first season of WellPlay in a double elimination bracket, best-of-three series with best-of-five grand finals. Only the winners and the runner-ups will get a share of the $3,000 prize pool money.
Prize pool distribution:
1st place: $2,250
2nd place: $750
From the eight invited teams, six have already confirmed their participation, among them is Kaipi - with a new roster formed by WehSing 'SingSing' Yuen and Pittner 'bOne7' Armand.
