Started at the beginning of December last year, the qualifiers for Dota Pit Season 4 are resuming with two groups for Europe and a few games left to be played in the US group.
A total of eight teams will take the trip to Croatia later this year to participate at the first LAN event of Dota Pit that will be held at Spaladium Arena between 19th and 20th of March 2016.
While the South East Asia winners have already been decided, namely MVP.Phoenix, in the US group compLexity Gaming are the leaders at this moment with 12 points. Digital Chaos are right behind them with 10 points and they still have a match to play against Elite Wolves. The US qualifier will resume this weekend, on January 9th.
Europe
The directly invited team to Shanghai Major, Alliance will play the qualifiers for Dota Pit 4 and they are seeded with Team Liquid and Empire in group A. Group B features a well balanced mix of CIS and EU representatives with Na’Vi, Vega Squadron and Team Spirit against Mamas Boys, London Conspiracy and No Logic Gaming.
The winner of each group will advance to the $100,000 staring prize pool LAN event.
Group A games will be held from January 11th to 22th while group B schedule is not entirely clear yet, organizers are still working on a solution in order to avoid a clash with the Shanghai Major regional qualifiers and the Star Ladder|i-League LAN. All games will be played in a two game series round robin format.
