Alliance announced that their support player Mynuts will be departing from the squad as it remains unclear on who will be replacing him
According to an announcement on the Alliance official website, Alliance’s support player Johan 'Mynuts' Andersson has parted ways with the squad.
In a statement released by Jonathan 'Loda' Berg on the Alliance’s website, it said,
“Our time with Johan has been great, and even though we didn’t win any tournament together I think we achieved quite a lot together. We started off the season quite slow, with some lackluster results, but we fought our way back, and qualifying for the major together + winning the WCA Open Qualifier meant a lot to us as a team. Nonetheless we have all felt that something has been off, and even though our results at the major hit the team quite hard I would not put it as a reason to why we make this change.”
Johan 'Mynuts' Andersson joined Alliance post TI 5 during the shuffle prior to which he was playing for Burden United. He also played for a small time with Alliance earlier this year. Mynuts was predominantly known for his stellar performances with heroes like Tusk and support Queen of Pain.
It stands clear that the failure to shine in tournaments like Frankfurt Major and DreamLeague LAN stands as the reason behind his departure. It still remains unclear as to who the replacement for Mynuts would be and according to the announcement it also stated that the final roster will be announced after The Defense where they will be playing with a stand-in member.
