EHOME defeat LGD 2 -1 in the lower bracket of the playoffs with a dominating performance and progress to play Vici Gaming in the next stage.
Game One
Game one was a very straightforward affair for Zhang 'LaNm' Zhicheng and his boys as they dominated LGD at every domain of the game. EHOME were able to get early kills and establish a strong lead over LGD. This helped them progress quite quickly. Ehome was able to complete quick objectives as Ren 'ELeVeN' Yangwei on the Broodmother kept pushing the lanes. Chen 'Cty' Tianyu on his Windranger and Wang 'old chicken' Zhiyong on the Tiny looked extremely threatening with insane damage output. The net-worth and experience difference kept growing which put LGD in a very tough situation and eventually made them call the GG. Lu 'Maybe' Yao on his Ember Spirit tried to salvage anything by giving his best but it turned out to be in vain. EHOME successfully took the first game of the series putting the pressure on LGD.
Game Two
After a poor game 1 for LGD it was vital they win this game to stay alive in the series. Captain Bai 'rOtk' Fan did not have the best game on his Doom so it was all about redemption for LGD in game 2. LGD opted to draft standard while EHOME decided to go with a Leshrac, who was extremely feared in the previous patch, for Cty. The game was off to an even start but after a while Liu 'Sylar' Jiajun on his Gyrocopter started roaming and getting pickoffs with the help of Rotk on his Earthshaker, who probably played his best game in the tournament. Cty on the Leshrac did look threatening with a very early bloodstone but LGD had the edge over them. The cores of LGD got sufficient farm and looked extremely strong. Lei 'MMY!' Zengrong and Liang 'DDC' Faming also had some commendable plays with the Disruptor and Winter Wyvern with timely ultimates, disabling and silencing the EHOME team. Unable to comeback, EHOME eventually had to tap out as LGD took game 2.
Game Three
A decisive game for both the Chinese giants as the loser of the game wouold exit the Frankfurt Majors and with a tied series both teams looked strong. The game started off with EHOME dominating LGD when old chicken, on his Tiny, went berserk. Maybe on the Templar Assassin was able to keep up with the networth but the Bounty Hunter pick by Ehome was just pushing back LGD in terms of the networth with the Track gold. ELeVeN played his signature hero, Tusk, who got amazing initiations with co-ordinated follow ups too. LGD did have a few shining moments but were unable to convert them into their favour as EHOME were way ahead. The Leshrac which was picked again for Cty seemed to agree with EHOME’s lineup this game as he was able to provide amazing area damage with push potential. Maybe on his Templar Assassin had a pretty decent game but was unable to dominate. EHOME just went on to annihilate LGD to take game 3 and progress to the next stage of the lower bracket in playoffs where they will play their other Chinese counterpart Vici Gaming.
LGD with a veteran lineup weren’t able to recreate their TI 5 performance and were thus eliiminated, but they certainly had some great games and brilliant moments in the Majors.
