A new online tournament where up-and-coming players and teams will get their chance to play versus pros is brought to you by PGL and GD Studio.
Starting next week, on September 16th, the PGL Dota2 Pro-AM tournament will be hosted via FACEIT, featuring a $50,000 USD prize pool distributed in two stages; firstly between amateur teams competing in the open qualifiers, then another batch of prize money split between the victors of the finals.
During the initial stage starting next week, eight amateur teams will qualify to the second stage in October, in which eight professional teams will join them in a single elimination bracket.
The amateur qualifiers will be held on European servers each weekend for four weeks. First two teams from each qualifier round will advance into the second stage of the tournament and will earn a $2,000 cash money prize.

The second stage of the tournament will allow the up-and-coming squads to test their strengths against eight pro teams as the eight AM (amateurs) teams from the open qualifiers and eight invited Pro teams will be placed in a single elimination bracket.
Stage two prize pool distribution:
1st: $15,000
2nd: $6,000
3rd/4th: $2,500
5th-8th: $1,000
Sign-ups for the qualifier rounds can be done here but first you have to register on FACEIT. Players who competed in The International 5 main event, excluding the Wild Card matches are not eligible to participate in the AM Open Qualifiers.
