The second season of Romanian Dota Pro League have already started and it features a $1,500 prize pool in cash money.
Romanian Dota Pro League returns with the second season of the tournament and it’s reserved for Romanian teams only. With the sole purpose to endorse and promote the Romanian DotA 2 scene, RPDL 2 is a free entry tournament for all the teams that have five Romanian players in it.
Romanian Dota Pro League 2 will take place over the course of nine weeks between August 17 - October and it will consist in four qualifiers rounds. The sign up slots are unlimited and tax free. Each qualifier round will have a single elimination bracket and the best two teams from each qualifier will advance to the main event. At the end of the main event only four teams will go to the playoffs.
According to CryOnicS, tournament organizer, it is possible that the playoffs will be hosted in a LAN event this fall in Bucharest - Romania. He also mentioned that he is waiting Valve’s authorization for an in game free to watch ticket. More details soon to be announced.
