The Chinese I-League qualifiers have finished and EP, VG.P and VG.cn and NewBee have qualified for the final stage.
I-League Qualifiers are now over, full roster of teams for LAN Stage has been decided. The list of teams that have qualified includes:
-- 1 invited (defending champions) LGD
-- 1 from Americas qualifiers: mouz (ex-Tinker)
-- 1 from Europe qualifiers: Alliance
-- 1 from SEA qualifiers: Team Malaysia
-- 4 from Chinese qualifiers: Vici Gaming Potential, Energy Pacemaker, Vici Gamingi, NewBee
The Chinese Qualifiers featured two groups of featuring eight teams in each one, only two from each advanced to the next stage. The first group had big upsets; Invictus Gaming and EHOME were not able to qualify, being two points behind upcoming teams Energy Pacemaker and Vici Potential.
The other group went as per expectations, Vici Gaming went undefeated in the seven games to secure themselves 14 points which is the maximum. NewBee also look to have found their form, losing only to Vici Gaming and one game to Hyper Glory Team. The LAN will take place Shanghai on May 20th of this month.
