Today has been a day of upsets, starting with the VP Game Pro League, then Mineski beat MVP Phoenix and Na'VI beat VP.Polar and Empire in the Red Bull Battlegrounds.

In the VP Game Pro League, Tongfu beat Invictus Gaming (1-0) to eliminate them from the tournament, this came as a huge surprise since IG beat Tongfu in their last two meetings. On the upper side of the bracket, Vici Gaming lost to LGD who are performing at a high level having won nine out of their last ten matches. Vici Gaming will get another shot at LGD it they're able to win their game against CDEC/Tongfu tomorrow.
Another surprise came in the I-League SEA Qualifiers where Mineski.PH beat MVP.Phoenix eliminating them from the tournament. MVP.Phoenix finished fourth at MLG, they've had average performances over the past few weeks but them being one of the top teams in SEA, this is a big upset and it'll have future ramifications. The Koreans need to perform at a LAN to get an invite for TI, currently their chances right now look abysmal.
The Redbull Battlegrounds CIS Region Qualifiers have started and Natus Vincere managed to surprise everyone, winning two consecutive games against VP.Polar (1-0) and Team Empire (1-0) who just won the MLG Pro League after beating EG in the finals and were on a six matchs streak going in but Na'VI managed to upset them. The Ukranian team played their signature team fight style, ArtStyle came up with very creative drafts in both the matches. The team will need to beat HellRaisers in a best of three series to make it to the LAN Finals in Santa Monica on 5th May.
